Citation-Grounded Answers

Every answer traces to a specific passage in a specific document. No hallucinations, no guessing — just answers you can verify with one click.

How citation-grounded answers work

1

You ask a question

Type your question in plain language. Reamind searches your entire document library for the most relevant passages.

2

Relevant passages are retrieved

Reamind identifies the specific paragraphs across your documents that are most relevant to your question — even when they use different terminology.

3

An answer is generated from your documents

Using only the retrieved passages as source material, Reamind generates a clear, direct answer. Nothing is fabricated from general knowledge.

4

Every claim is cited

Each statement in the answer links to the exact document, page, and passage it came from. Click any citation to see the source in context.

What are our data retention requirements for client records?

According to your compliance documentation, client records must be retained for a minimum of 7 years after the conclusion of the engagement[Retention Policy v3.2, p.4]. For matters involving litigation holds, records must be preserved indefinitely until the hold is released[Legal Hold Procedures, p.2]. Electronic records stored in the document management system are subject to the same retention schedule[IT Data Governance Policy, p.11].

Source-grounded answers

Every answer is generated exclusively from your documents. No general knowledge, no guessing, no hallucination. If the answer isn't in your documents, Reamind tells you.

Inline citations

Citations appear inline — click any one to jump to the exact passage in the source document. Verification is always one click away.

Multi-document synthesis

When the answer spans multiple documents, Reamind synthesizes information from all of them and cites each source separately.

Conversational memory

Ask follow-up questions in context. "What about the timeline?" works because Reamind remembers what you were discussing.
